This piece recalls a formal winter garden I visited in Yorkshire, with a ginger cat lounging among the plants and seedheads. The composition draws your eye down the garden path to the ornate gate, inviting you to explore.
I used acrylic paints, inks and collage. I make my own collage papers by painting on lightweight sheets with layers of professional grade colour. After cutting out shapes with a knife, I glue the pieces onto good-quality paper using archival glue.

Framed option: The frame is solid oak, just beautiful natural wood 2cm (front) x 2cm (side). Black frame with similar dimensions also available. It has an acid free mount (flat mounted with window) and art glass for UV protection and greatly reduced reflections. Ready to hang with d-rings and string attached. Mounted option: It comes with an acid free mount (flat mounted with window) and backing board. Cellophane wrapped and carefully flat-packed in a strong cardboard box.
