A solitary tree, rooted among rugged rock formations, is a recurring theme throughout my work. This companion piece to Against All Odds continues my exploration of the quiet strength and resilience of the natural landscape, drawing inspiration from the rocky outcrops in places like Brimham rocks in Yorkshire and the Peak District. The layered rock formations suggest geological strata, offering glimpses into the landscape's hidden history and the slow passage of time. Together, the tree and the surrounding stones embody a sense of permanence, endurance and the enduring beauty of nature.

Created through multiple layers of hand-printing, this artwork brings together rich textures, intricate patterns and evocative colour. It celebrates the enduring beauty and strength of the natural world, capturing a sense of place, history and the quiet power of nature.

Enjoy a beautiful reproduction of my original artwork, printed on premium canvas using archival pigment inks and a protective, satin varnish for lasting colour and quality.
