This piece began with bold sweeps of abstract colour and layers of collaged patterned papers, from which flowers and leaves gradually emerged. Through drawing and fluid paint marks, the surface evolved intuitively, revealing a delicate balance of colour, texture and form.

I wanted to capture a feeling of soft light and open space, creating a piece that feels both calming and uplifting. Inspired by Rosebay Willowherb (fireweed), with its wonderfully varied forms as it changes through the seasons, the painting celebrates the quiet beauty and natural rhythm of the wildflowers.

Enjoy a beautiful reproduction of my original artwork, printed on premium canvas using archival pigment inks and a protective, satin varnish for lasting colour and quality. Each print is carefully colour-matched to the original, signed and numbered on the back, and part of a limited edition of 100.

This Rosebay Willowherb wall art comes on a wood stretcher, ready to hang, with an optional oak-effect floating frame for an elegant finishing touch. Please get in touch for alternative frame colours. The image extends seamlessly around the edges, so no part of the artwork is lost.
