I've done a number of night sky pieces now and I have really enjoyed finding unique ways to portray the stars. Including a comet was an exciting development of the theme. It's a natural focus and counterbalance to the trees on the crag. Shooting stars next!

The original was a monotype - a unique printed painting. I use rollers and dabbers to spread out the ink then make marks with a cloth and other tools. The stars were made by scattering chalk dust and the rugged shape of the crag using a torn paper stencil. Watch a video of how the original was made.

This giclee reproduction is made to the highest standards on high quality paper. The accuracy of colour to the original is first rate.
