The inspiration for this piece came from visiting Brimham rocks in Yorkshire with the family. The kids had a wonderful time clambering over this amazing geological formation. Here and there a tree would find a crevice to anchor it's roots.

I used rollers and dabbers to spread out the ink then made marks with a cloth and other tools. I built up layers of over-lapping colous by printing serveral times. I incorporated textures by impressing inked up wallpaper and fabric. I also used paper stencils to make the crisp edges. You can watch a video of the original artwork being made.

This giclee reproduction is made to the highest standards on high quality paper. The accuracy of colour to the original is first rate.
