Back-lighting is a strong theme in my recent work. I love the way it changes and illuminates whatever it touches. In this seascape with rocky headlands that light appears to change the colour of the rocks giving them a warm glow.
I used rollers and dabbers to spread out the ink then made marks by wiping away with a cloth. I built up layers of over-lapping colous by printing several times. I also used paper stencils to make the crisp edges.
