What happens when you stop saving your beautiful painted papers for “the right project” and simply start playing? In this studio experiment, I create a series of small abstract collages on wood panels, exploring intuition, composition, colour and the joy of making without pressure.

I spent five days in Ullapool exploring the Scottish landscape, sketching rivers, hills, and harbours. Using charcoal, pastel, and ink, I created imaginative paintings that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Messy, challenging, and full of discoveries — just the way I love it!
